BMX Plaza with Connor Buttress

Roll off the launch deck into a street plaza under the dome. Boost Big Air off the mega quarter pipe, throw bar spins and tailwhips, lock into peg grinds, and watch each rider's tricks stack up on the board.

On a phone or tablet? BMX Plaza is ridden with a keyboard (W A S D, Space and the trick keys), so you'll need a computer, or a tablet with a keyboard attached. The Play button still works if you want to open it here.

Controls and tricks

How to ride

Ride up any ramp to pop off the lip. Tricks only score when you land them, and chaining them builds a combo. The same list sits in the game's Controls panel (click it to fold it away).

WASD

Ride

W pedal, S brake and reverse, A / D steer (and balance on a grind). The arrow keys work too.

Space

Bunny hop

Pop a hop anywhere. On a grind, Space plus A or D hops off to that side.

U

Bar spin 250

In the air. Tap just before or during a hop, or as you leave a ramp. The spin fits the air you have.

O

Tailwhip 500

In the air, same timing as the bar spin. Land it clean to bank the points.

Ihold

Manual 100/s

Hold I to balance on the back wheel across the flat.

P

Big Air 750+

Mega quarter pipe only. Tap P as you reach the top, just before or right at the lip, for a huge table-top air. Add U or O on the way up for a combo.

Khold

Pegs and stalls

Ride along an edge (pad, coping, ramp side, rails, handrail, arc ledge) and hold K to peg grind. On a wheel grind, hold K to drop to the pegs. Turn along a ramp lip and hold K to stall; W, S or Space drops back in.

Pick a bike

Click a numbered swatch next to Bike in the game's top bar. More on bikes.

Lining up a grind? Hop onto the gold rail, the sunglasses arms or the arc ledge. The small kickers beside the arc pop you straight on. Lost? Hit Re-center in the top bar.

  1. In the game's top bar, find Bike and its four numbered colour swatches.
  2. Click (or tap) a swatch. You're straight on that bike, with its frame colour and number on the seat.
  3. The other three wait on the launch deck, and your pick is remembered next time you play in this browser.

The top bar also has the camera buttons Spectator, Overhead and Rider Cam, plus Crowd, Orbit and Re-center.
